…learning how to visually identify intervals AND key “anchor” notes.

➡️ Odd intervals (3rd, 5th, 7ths, etc) will ALWAYS be line/line OR space/space

➡️ Even intervals (2nd, 4ths, 6th, 8ths, etc) will ALWAYS be line/space OR space/line

➡️ For notes that are too high/low, use key “anchor” notes to create an interval to reference. The first ledger lines INSIDE the grand staff will ALWAYS be C. The 2nd ledger lines OUTSIDE the grand staff will ALWAYS be C. This way, if there are no easy intervals to read, you create your own.
